Analyst Berates Nigerian Leaders’ Style of Leadership

A Public Affairs Analyst, Gbeminiyi Micheal has said it is becoming more disheartening that Nigerian leaders do not have the interest of the masses at heart.

Gbeminiyi who stated this on the Crest FM’s Breakfast Show, Eyi ara, described as unfair the fact that the Federal

Government singled out 15 million household for the conditional cash transfer scheme out of the 200 million

Nigerians suffering the hardship  of the subsidy removal.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu had launched the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer for 15 million households, taking out dead beneficiaries from the register and disqualifying those without National Identification Numbers, NIN, and Bank Verification Numbers, BVN.

Reacting to this development, Gbeminiyi argued that the exclusion process could open an avenue for some government officials to syphon public funds, as according to him, many of the poorest of the poor do not have any of these identification numbers.
