Analyst accuses FG of making NLC, TUC lock horns

A Public Affairs Analyst, Williams Ero has stated that the Federal Government is using the nation’s two biggest organized labour unions against each other

Ero made the submission on a Crest FM’s Current Affairs program, “this week in review” while reacting to the 2-day warning strike of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the meeting of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) with the Federal Government

The Analyst who berated the 2-day NLC strike stated that the Labour unions in the country are now tools in the hands of the government and have become ineffective.

According to him, gone are the days when Labour unions used to be a driving force for holding the government accountable.

He then advised that if the organized labour unions want to remain relevant, they should go back to their drawing table, sort out their differences and implement their fight for good governance in unity.
